By request of my friend Laura... I'm posting a recent picture of my baby belly!! At the moment, I prefer to avoid cameras, because I always look like I swallowed a basketball!! But I love Laura...so she gets what she wants! So this is me at 28 weeks pregnant:)
All is well with the baby, she is moving and kicking all the time now. Mostly at night. Mostly, when I'm trying to sleep!
I've been having Lot's of Braxton Hicks contraction lately. Apparently they are also known as "practice contractions." They don't hurt, they just feel like my tummy is tightening up, and getting very hard to the touch. I've heard from my doctor that they can be caused by dehydration, so I'm drinking Lot's of water and Gatorade. And, Michael is feeling VERY vindicated- because he is ALWAYS telling me to drink more water! So now I really have to listen, since I have both him and the doctor saying to!!
We have started painting Molly's nursery this week! So I'm getting VERY excited to start decorating it a bit. It will be so lovely to go up in Molly's room and daydream about what she will be like! I can't wait to meet her. I'm really starting to get nervous and excited, and so is Michael. Next weekend we have our childbirth preparation classes all weekend. We will learn labor breathing, and hospital policies, basics of baby care. Basically- it's baby boot camp!! So wish us luck!!
Hope everyone is doing well- sending hugs:)
