Up to now, I've been very lucky and avoided morning sickness all together. And I'm still lucky, because while I feel awfully nauseated lately- I haven't actually been sick. So thank goodness for that.
That said, the last few mornings I've felt kind of awful, culminating in this morning when I woke at 5:30am, and couldn't sleep because I felt so sick. So at 9:00am I was still awake, sitting in the living room eating saltines and attempting to feel human again, when Michael got up for work.
And Michael being the less emotional, more logical of the two of us- immediately asks me if I took the nausea pills the doctor prescribed for morning sickness. To which I thought......"duh!!!"
I'd been up for 4 hours feeling TERRIBLE, and do you think in all that time it occurred to me that I have nausea medicine? Ummm, no :)
So, I took the medicine.... still feel kinda yucky. But better. And still can't believe I spent four hours feeling so bad, without once thinking about taking medicine for it!!!
oy vay:)

Awww. Poor thing. Sorry you've been feeling so bad. You've been a real trooper. Wish I'd known you were sick so I could have reminded you to take the pills sooner. *hugs* and all my love. ~Michael
Awwww, Shan!!! I'm sorry you had such a rough morning, but thats good that you were eating saltines and found the medicine! I'm usually for natural stuff, but in that instance, I'd take whatever the doctor prescribed:) love you so much!!!!
Welllllllll my dear, my mother tells me that morning sickness is hereditary when expecting...and guess what? Yep - she had morning sickness, so I can assume I will, too, someday. So I will understand more of your pain in the future. I think it's so sweet how you said it's "all worth it" because the baby is healthy! YAY!
