10 week update!

(The first pic above is of the normal sonogram in black & white. The picture below is of the baby in 3d ultrasound!)

So we had an appointment with the obgyn today, and got another sonogram done.

We saw the baby wiggling all around. And the baby had it's little hands near its head and Michael said the baby was doing a little dance using "jazz hands!" Our baby is apparently a fan of Bob Fosse!

lol.

Honestly it was so neat, the pictures above don't show the details as well as you could see them during the live scans, and we could see the little fingers and a spine, and the little heart beating away! The heartbeat was 162 beats a minute which is great, and we got to hear it again, which was wonderful. Also, the baby has almost doubled in size since our last scan, so it is growing quick now!

Our baby now looks a bit like a small teddy bear, and is as cute as can be, dancing around my tummy! One minute the baby was facing towards us, and the next was facing away. The babies hands were close to the face a lot, and our obgyn said that even at this age babies tend to have an oral fixation, and put their hands near their mouths. So cute!

All in all, a wonderful day!!
