We had our 11 week sonogram this afternoon, and the pictures were the best yet! The babies arms and legs have developed much more, and our little shy baby, kept turning away from us, and hiding it's little face behind two little hands!Although the still pictures we got don't show the face closely, we could see it during the live sonogram, and it seemed to have to have puffy little cheeks and a small pout. It looked like it was rubbing it's eyes and squirming around:)
The heartbeat was a hearty 169 beats a minute up from our last scan. And the baby has actually DOUBLED in size since our last scan! Our little angel was sleepy and beautiful today at the scan, and Michael and I feel more blessed than ever. And SO excited to meet this baby!

awwwww!! Adorable! So cute how the baby was so shy! In the first pic, lol, it looks like the baby is meditating! Congratulations to you and Michael!! Keep having those herbal teas:) love ya:)
That's funny Nic, I thought something similiar, I thought it looked like the baby was praying!
From what Michael and I have read online, the baby is just discovering it can move its hands. So it is keeping it's hands by its face so it can touch it's mouth and play:)
awwww!
lol, well I guess Michael's explanation makes alittle more sense:)
Do you remember Look Who's Talking - the first one - where the baby notices its hand on the inside and it looks all trippy and what not :) YAY for baby noticing hands!! If you haven't seen that movie in a while, that might be a fun one to watch again :)
Love you and your family!
Oh yeah - I'm L on blogger :)
Love you,
Laura
That WOULD be a fun one to watch again soon!
Love ya too Laura!
I totally agree with Laura, that would be so cute to watch!
Yay, Laura's on here now. Cool! I've never seen Look Who's Talking. Might have to check it out... thought I'm not sure about hearing Bruce Willis' voice coming from your tummy. It was fun shopping for baby furniture at Babys-R-Us yesterday. I love our baby's latest photo op. My brother said it looks like me. ;) Love you!
Oh my gosh! Shannon and Michael, to say that I am so incredibly happy for you both, would be an enormous understatement!! CONGRATULATIONS my friends :) Your wee baby looks so precious and you two are going to make a fantastic mum and dad....yay!!! I send you lots of big fuzzy hugs and Miss Shannon you keep taking those teas!
Lots of Love to both of you, your pal across the way, Tracey xoxo
How can anyone NOT be pro-life when they see a miracle like this? So beautiful! Your baby is going to be so adorable. Can't wait to see it when it arrives!
