Well- the secret is out! The votes were split right down the middle! And it was really fun to hear peoples predictions! As most of you already know we are having a baby girl!
I accidentally let it slip when I referred to the baby as "she" while talking to my dad! I'm actually relieved that I don't have to keep the secret anymore, it was exhausting! So it's all for the best that it's out! Michael and I are just over the moon with excitement! It's really nice to be able to imagine who the little person is inside me. And knowing the sex, definitely helps paint the picture! I just know Michael is going to end up with a little "Daddy's girl!"
Speaking of the Daddy- Michael has always been very logical when we look at baby stuff. And it was his wise advice that we keep the baby's bedroom nuetral, so if we have kids after this we can use it regardless of the sex.
So, you can imagine my surprise when Mr. Logical and I went to look at baby bedding last weekend, and Michael couldn't keep his hands off all the Pink bedding!!! He was not looking at nuetrals, he was looking at pink blankets, and lace trim curtains!! It was hysterical! He's going to be such a great dad. It was really sweet to see him excited over all the possibilities for our baby girl!
And I can already tell, that when it comes to his daughter..... Mr. logical has officially left the building!!
So sweet!

awwww!! that is such a cute story. Michael is going to be a great daddy I'm sure! lol, he can help her pick out all of her school supplies, etc by checking it out first online, (which is very logical and smart, I'm just making alittle fun:)) I can't wait to meet your little girly too!
Hey, I resemble those remarks! Yep, as soon as I saw all that cute girly stuff for the nursery at that baby store I realized just how deeply in trouble I am. LOL. Our little girl is going to have me wrapped around her cute pudgy little finger. In my defense, however, while turning to mush over the frilly baby bedding, I did flip the tags over to see what was "Made in China" and might require further safety research. ;)
good job Michael!! We've been doing that too, we went through everything in the kitchen, and had to throw out a bunch of stuff. My mom has been saying not to buy stuff made in China for years now so when Martin brought it up to her last time we visited, she was so excited I was marrying him:) lol.
