A little face, peeking out from the darkness...

Our little Muppet is doing great!

We had a scan this morning and our little bundle is weighing in 1.5 lbs. And she is measuring ahead of her weeks of gestation. So we know she is thriving in her little water world!

I was telling Michael's mom recently that she is moving so much lately!! It seems every time I stay still she starts doing high kicks! She is very quiet if I'm moving around, but woe to me if I take a break! She is all about making her presence known:)

I love feeling her move though- it's a wonderful thing to know she is doing alright.

In slightly more serious news, we found out at my scan that I'm currently considered "placenta previa." Basically that means that our wee ones placenta is over my cervix. They are having me back for another scan in two weeks to see if it's moved. If not, that will likely mean that I can't have the natural birth I was planning. There is too great a chance of severe bleeding. So if things don't change in the next month- I will likely have to resign myself to a C-section a little earlier than my due date, and a longer recovery time.

So please keep us as always in your prayers. It's still early enough that things may change! In the meantime I'm under doctors orders to take it easy and scale back physical activity like walking, or doing anything strenous that could start bleeding. Hopefully this will just resolve itself over the next couple weeks though, and I can avoid the C-section.

In truth though- it doesn't matter how I deliver our little girl. The important thing is just that she be healthy and happy. And know how much we love her!!

Hope everyone is well!

awww, she looks so cute in the little pictures:) Thats funny that she moves around when you are still and when you move, she is still, its like you two are balancing eachother out! About the c-section, I'm sorry you won't be able to have a natural birth if things don't change in the coming weeks, I will keep you guy in my prayers, but on a good note, honestly, c-sections are great! you can get them to do the incision (my stepmom, dads second wife had one) below the belly button so that you can still wear bikinis lol with no scar:) (this is what she said) Also, the doctor will be there the whole time, so you and Molly will be superprotected which is good! Love you:)
ps maybe we'll reschedule the trip??
